Meet Evapolar – A Personal Air Conditioner

The summer has arrived and the high temperatures can directly influence our daily lives and even our mood. There is still hope to change that and it is in the form of a “portable air conditioner” – the Evapolar.

Russian entrepreneurs Eugene Dubovoy and Vladimir Levitin developed a portable device that is your personal air conditioner, it moistens and cleanse the air around the user. Another advantage is that, unlike traditional air conditioning, Evapolar uses a patented filter, and a reusable container of water to purify the air.

The device cools by filtering and humidifying the air around it and its cooling effects are most noticeable in dry and arid environments. In humid areas, it shall perform a similar function to that of a fan. Of course we are not talking about replacing the traditional air conditioning here.
